Cancellation & Date Change Policy

Once payment is completed, the booking is confirmed by our system as non-refundable and non-cancellable. Bookings made through partner platforms (OTAs) follow that platform's own cancellation/refund policy — please check at the time of booking.

1. Date Change and Cancellation Terms

Guests may adjust their stay dates once (1), applicable only in cases of force majeure. The request must be submitted in writing or by email and takes effect only once approved by the Resort, subject to the minimum notice periods below:

  • Regular days (Sunday–Thursday): at least 7 days' notice.
  • Weekend days (Friday–Saturday): at least 14 days' notice.
  • Holidays and Tet: at least 25 days' notice.

2. Last-Minute Bookings and Policy Violations

  • Last-minute bookings: for reservations made within 7 days of check-in, the date-change policy does not apply.
  • Cancellation fee: any cancellation made after the notice periods above, or a no-show, is subject to a penalty of 100% of the total booking value.

3. How to Request a Date Change

Please send your request in writing to salesgroup@sonataresort.com or our hotline, including your booking reference, name, and reason. Requests are only valid once confirmed in writing by the Resort.
